THE INNER WHEEL CLUB OF NEWARK

Inner Wheel is a voluntary organisation, which has 25,000 members in Great Britain and Ireland. It was formed in 1924, in Manchester, to complement Rotary and took the name Inner Wheel to emphasise the strong links between the two organisations.

Inner Wheel has grown to become a worldwide organisation where there is a diversity of interests, ages and a difference of cultures. It gives members the opportunity to work together and give hope.

A different theme is chosen each year by the International President.

The theme for 2009 – 2010 is “HELP BRING HOPE ”

Newark Inner Wheel Club is a member of District 22 of the Association of Inner Wheel Clubs of Great Britain and Ireland. The Chairman of District 22 this year is

Mary Pay - of our own Newark Club.
